CAT 2020 Eligibility criteria
- Any candidates having a graduation degree with an aggregate of 50% (45% for reserved category) can apply for CAT 2020.
- Candidates who are appearing final exam of graduation are also eligible.

CAT 2020 Registration Process cum Application Process
CAT 2020 Registration process will start approximately from the second week of August. The candidates will have to fill up an online application form to pay the necessary fee to register for the examination. Interested candidates can apply on iimcat.ac.in. The application process is usually as mentioned below steps:
- Registration of candidature on CAT official website as mentioned above.
- Click on new registration
- Filling up the application form which includes personal details of candidate, contact information, E-mail id, academic details, work experience, program preference and exam centre preference.
- An OTP will send to your mentioned email id.
- Use that OTP to authenticate on your phone number and email id and follow the further instructions.
- Upload scan copies of documents like a signature, passport size photograph, category certificate, and disability certificate in a prescribed dimension.
- Payment of application fee: CAT 2020 Application fee is approximately Rs. 1800 for general category. It can be paid online via credit card/net banking/debit card. Mention below is the tentative category wise application fee structure for CAT 2020

CAT 2020 Exam Pattern and Syllabus
CAT exam is extremely volatile and pattern changes every year frequently. This year too same pattern is said to be followed. The marks allotted for each part is given in the table below:

IIM’s does not release an official CAT syllabus. A brief of CAT syllabus for all the three parts i.e. VARC, QA, and DILR is tabulated as below:

CAT 2020 Admit Card
CAT admit card will be issued only to the registered candidates. These admit card will be issued online and candidates have to download from the official website only with their user id and password. Here are the instructions on how to download CAT 2020 admit card:

- Go to admit card tab
- Click on download button to save a copy of your admit card or take a print out of it.
CAT admit card is compulsory to carry with you during the examination. The candidates must make sure they carry two copies of CAT admit card and take one photo id issued by the government of India like Addhar card to the exam hall.
Note: Candidates will not get entry with digital or photocopy of the admit card. So they must have to download there admit cards on A4 size paper and affix their photo on it.
CAT 2020 Result
CAT result or scorecard will be broadcast in the first week of January 2021. The result cum scorecard will be available on the official website IICAT and candidates can download their scorecard. CAT result cum scorecard will include each candidate scaled sacred (Sectional and Total) and percentile (Sectional and Total). The CAT result will be authenticated for admission batch 0f MBA of 2021-2023. Guidance to download CAT result:

CAT Cut off
The exam authority will release the cutoff for various categories after the releasing of the result. The cut off can also be declared after the written examination. Those candidates will obtain the marks Equal or above than the cut off marks can participate for the admission. Every year the criteria for cutoff will change.
The cut off will be declared probably in the month of November 2020. Candidates can check their score online. Candidates should have to check carefully cut off marks and appear for admission process in diversified colleges and institutions.
