Gujarat National Law University

Gujarat National Law University (GNLU) Gandhinagar is the statutory university set up by the Government of Gujarat under the Gujarat National Law University Act,2003. The University is renowned by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and the Grants Commission University (UGC). GNL University Gandhinagar is also a member of the Association of Indian Universityies (AIU), International Association of Law Schools (IALS), United Nations Academic Impact (UNAI), Asian Law Institute (ASLI) and  Shastri Indo-Canadian Institute.

The Gujarat National Law University Act 2003 announce that GNLU, “shall be to advance and propagate learning and knowledge of law and legal methodology and their role in national amplification: to develop the students and the research scholars sense of responsibility to serve the society in the field of law by embryonic skills in regard to advocacy, legislation, legal services, parliamentary practice, law reforms and such other matters; to make law and legal processes competent instruments of social development; and to promote inter-disciplinary study of law in relation to management, international cooperation, technology, and development.”
