Gemology is the study of gemstones, its characteristics, quality and value. In India gems and jewellery business is seeing positive change. You can go for the gemology study after 10+2 or graduation. National Institute of fashion technology offers a three-year diploma course in jewellery design. Indian Institute of Gemology also offers various courses in Gemology.
